Kimberton Whole Foods is a multigenerational family business with grocery stores and cafes. Their mission is to serve as a community market with a passionate commitment to integrity, sustainable agriculture and fair trade. Currently they have 6 locations.
Kimberton Whole Foods came to use with an aging Joomla website that was repeatedly getting infected with malware. Additionally the website had a confusing UX (user experience) and did not display well on mobile devices. The site did not highlight their farmers, sales and nutrition information – all of which was extremely important to convey. The website also needed a way to display their events by location in way that was beautiful and functional.
YIKES took our website from a hacked mess to a beautiful, stable display of what Kimberton Whole Foods is really all about.
Kelly Ragen,We built the new site on our hosting partner’s secure platform that includes firewall protection and 24/7 network analysis monitoring to ensure the site would never get hacked again. After a thoughtful discovery process, we crafted a design to reflect the spirit and mission of Kimberton Whole Foods that displays beautifully across all devices. To satisfy the needs of their multiple locations, we built a customized admin to manage content and information that is unique to each location, including events. This content now automatically filters into the appropriate location’s section on the website.
